One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Fast Technology could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 20 m. Gorgeous Girl was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.




Fighting Striker quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 10 m. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 40 m. Pogo started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Fighting Striker followed by Fast Technology and Falling Wardrobe. Lane two Gorgeous Girl followed by Intelligent Thinking and Tuo Piedi.



Gorgeous Girl was first on the homestretch followed by Fighting Striker and Falling Wardrobe.






Fast Technology never caught up with Gorgeous Girl who won. Intelligent Thinking came third.
