The weather had been good all week and Ylivieska was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Vasanta sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m. Unknown galloped way to long and was disqualified. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 20 m. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 0 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Admiral Sniper sprinted to the front.

The leader got disturbed by something and Schrödinger's Cat took the lead rather easily. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Schrödinger's Cat followed by Vasanta and Relaxing Ship. Lane two Roll Twice followed by Smiling Devil and Admiral Sniper. Unknown galloped for 30 m.

Unknown was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Unknown galloped way to long and was disqualified. Unknown was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Schrödinger's Cat were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Roll Twice made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Smiling Devil.
