It had been raining for several days at Leangen but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Tripping Thinker sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Tempting Brightness saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 10 m. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 30 m.




Rapièr sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Rapièr was still in the lead after 1500m.




Rapièr was still in the lead after 2000m.



Elegance La Joya was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Rapièr looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Couleuvre galop. Couleuvre lost 10 m. Couleuvre was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Rune Wiig tried a little too much on the homestretch and Tripping Thinker started to galopp and lost 10 m.




Rapièr didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
