One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Advanced Action found a gap and took the lead. Shagbark Hickory followed before Sneaking Meadow. Tempting Sky galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Advanced Action was in fine shape and held the lead. Unknown galloped way to long and was disqualified.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Advanced Action followed by Shagbark Hickory and Insane Sunshine. Lane two Sneaking Meadow followed by Golden Victory and Here With Me.

Advanced Action were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Shagbark Hickory galopped for 50 m on the homestretch.

Golden Victory won. Advanced Action came in second. Sneaking Meadow caught third place.
