The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Tingsryd this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Giant Rex sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Steel Folder was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m. Örjan Kihlström wanted a little to much in the start and Lone Pirate galoped for 50 m. When the startcar left the field Giant Rex started to galop and lost 10 m.




Pampino saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Douze started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Intelligent Folder sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Intelligent Folder followed by Forza Di Asso and Lone Pirate. Lane two Giant Rex followed by Steel Folder and General Muscle. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Good Looking Scout gallopped for 50 m.



With only a little left of the race Good Looking Scout galoped for 30 m. Good Looking Scout was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Giant Rex suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Winner of todays race was Giant Rex. Intelligent Folder came in second. Steel Folder became third.
