One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

This is the positions after 500m. Frozen Wolf, Comfortable Paradigm, Solid Asteroid, Le Cardinal, Walking Sunray, Jack Of Spades, Capricornus, Buck Newton.

Le Cardinal took the lead after 1000m. Jack Of Spades didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Le Cardinal today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Jack Of Spades gallopped for 20 m.

Capricornus took the lead. Le Cardinal galloped way to long and was disqualified. Frozen Wolf galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Capricornus looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Solid Asteroid sprinted over the finishline before Capricornus and Buck Newton.
