The weather had been good all week and Rättvik was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Paradise Flat could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Ivory Tower was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.




South Carolina quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 50 m.




South Carolina clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Paradise Flat saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. South Carolina galloped for 50 m.




Paradise Flat kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Ivory Tower was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Meadow Rocket was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Flower Garden litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Paradise Flat sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
