Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Halsua track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Compass Error. Top Issue ended up behind the leader. Peu Miracle got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Top Issue sprinted to the front. driver couldn't keep Princess Aaas to trotting so they were disqualified.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Top Issue followed by Buffalo and Gimcrack. Lane two Compass Error followed by Peu Miracle and Black Blind Snake.

Top Issue didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.

Compass Error suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Winner of todays race was Compass Error. Top Issue came in second. Buffalo became third.
