One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Beautiful Grove could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Unknown galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Beautiful Grove was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m. Unknown galloped way to long and was disqualified. Lady´s Purple Mantle galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.




Frozen Cookie accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Frozen Cookie looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Lady´s Purple Mantle was disturbed and galopped for 20 m.




Frozen Cookie didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
