The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åby this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Dove Princess. Diamond Fighter ended up behind the leader. Sulfur got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Inka Rose was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Diamond Fighter sprinted to the front. Simple Reason was disturbed and galoped 20 m.




Diamond Fighter clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Simple Reason was disturbed and galoped 20 m.




Midnight Walker accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Midnight Walker kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Diamond Fighter won the race after a spectacular finish.
