Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Åmål track was in top-condition. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Brennend Schwenkungen could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. High Hopes was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m. The leader couldn't hold the lead and Sneaky Spy sprinted to the front. The leader got disturbed by something and Brennend Schwenkungen took the lead rather easily. Nothing seemed to be able to stop Brennend Schwenkungen today. It continued in the lead. Brennend Schwenkungen kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch. Brennend Schwenkungen was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. North Born Man sprinted over the finishline before Opposing Sun and High Hopes. Results
