One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Trembling Jewel could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Just Angel saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Cassandra started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Skalman sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Medieval Methods looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Green Hornet gallopped for 40 m. Medieval Methods was still in the lead after 2000m. Medieval Methods kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch. Trembling Jewel made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Teach Me Love. Results
