The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Kaukonen this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Pin Stripe took the lead after a very quick start. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 30 m. Belle Fleur suddenly started to galop. Veli-Erkki Paavola had to struggle to get Belle Fleur to tror again and succeded after 20 m. Mauri Jaara wanted a little to much in the start and Stopping Ship galoped for 40 m.




Moving Bandwith quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Stopping Ship sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Unknown showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Stopping Ship was still in the lead after 1500m.




Sir Sirius seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead.



Carbon galloped for 60m and was disqualified. With only a little left of the race Carbon galoped for 50 m. Sir Sirius looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Carbon was disturbed and galopped for 10 m.




Pin Stripe won. Stopping Ship came in second. Sir Sirius caught third place.
