One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Diamond Warrior took the lead after a very quick start. driver couldn't keep Step By Step to trotting so they were disqualified. Running On Clouds showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Diamond Warrior clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

Diamond Warrior didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
