The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Mr Pin found a gap and took the lead. Zubarev followed before Just Cant Loose. Per Berg Thomsen wanted a little to much in the start and Second Commencer galoped for 20 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Verso Ovest, Zubarev, She Can Run, Mr Pin, Second Commencer, Unknown, Just Cant Loose, Mr Moment. A bird flew just in front of Celtic Hero who started to galop and lost 10 m.

Mr Moment took the lead after 1000m. Just Cant Loose didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Mr Moment was still in the lead after 1500m. Unknown galloped for 40 m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Mr Pin gallopped for 40 m.

Mr Moment didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Just Cant Loose galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Zubarev was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Mr Moment looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Winner of todays race was Mr Moment. Verso Ovest came in second. Just Cant Loose became third.
