The weather had been good all week and Jarlsberg was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Giant Fighter. Moonwalker ended up behind the leader. Steel Hero got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 10 m. When the startcar left the field Polished Cruiser started to galop and lost 30 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Pretty Grove sprinted to the front.

The leader got disturbed by something and Polished Cruiser took the lead rather easily.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Polished Cruiser today. It continued in the lead. Unknown galloped way to long and was disqualified.

With only a little left of the race Unknown galoped for 50 m. With only a little left of the race Unknown galoped for 40 m. Polished Cruiser looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Sad Sunshine galop. Sad Sunshine lost 50 m. Moonwalker galopped for 20 m on the homestretch.

Giant Fighter won the race after a spectacular finish.
