One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





On A Line found a gap and took the lead. The Champion followed before Singel Malt Palema.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and The Champion sprinted to the front.




On A Line looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Singel Malt Palema couldn't come out from behind the leader, The Champion.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop The Champion today. It continued in the lead.




The Champion didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Singel Malt Palema gallopped 10 m after 2000m.



The Champion kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
