One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Elegant Beauty found a gap and took the lead. Apollo Superman followed before Påarps Augusta. Slow Piece was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Apollo Superman, Verde Smeraldo, Black Panther, Heavy Action, Playing Ruby, Elegant Beauty, Påarps Augusta, Kentucky Diplomat.

Apollo Superman was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Lasercut was disturbed and galoped 50 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Apollo Superman followed by Black Panther and Heavy Action. Lane two Elegant Beauty followed by Påarps Augusta and Playing Ruby.

Crossing Ruby galloped way to long and was disqualified. Black Panther litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Kentucky Diplomat galopped for 20 m on the homestretch. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Slow Piece galop. Slow Piece lost 50 m.

Final standings. 1 Elegant Beauty, 2 Påarps Augusta, 3 Black Panther.
