One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Sandy Road could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Made In Canada today. It continued in the lead. Sputnik Stanley galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Made In Canada looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Blinkende Pilen galoped for 60m and was disqualified.

Made In Canada didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
