One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Flying Piece took the lead after a very quick start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Flying Piece clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Flying Piece followed by Funky Peach and . Lane two Boniface followed by and . Unknown galloped for 60m and was disqualified.



Unknown was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Flying Piece kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
