The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Mikkeli this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Running Free took the lead after a very quick start. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 40 m.




Screaming Boulder quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Screaming Boulder was disturbed and galoped 10 m.




Running Free looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Påarps Disa couldn't come out from behind the leader, Screaming Boulder. Unknown galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 50 m. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m.




Påarps Disa saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.




Running Free put some pressure on the leader and could take over. Unknown was disturbed and gallopped for 40 m. Påarps Disa was disturbed and gallopped for 50 m.



With only a little left of the race Screaming Boulder galoped for 0 m. Running Free were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Singing Diary galoped for 60m and was disqualified.




Winner of todays race was Running Free. Screaming Boulder came in second. Påarps Disa became third.
