It had been raining for several days at Jarlsberg but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Augenblick In Wahrheit could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Golden Oppertunity, Glorious Necklace, Time Has Come, Rêve Royal, Augenblick In Wahrheit, Like A Lamp, Fileuse, L'Étoile Mystérieuse. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Glorious Necklace took the lead after 1000m. Like A Lamp didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Augenblick In Wahrheit saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Rêve Royal galloped for 60m and was disqualified.



Fileuse was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Augenblick In Wahrheit kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Rêve Royal galop. Rêve Royal lost 20 m. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Augenblick In Wahrheit galop. Augenblick In Wahrheit lost 40 m.




Time Has Come won the race after a spectacular finish.
