The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Åby today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Proud Gift took the lead after a very quick start. Olle Elfstrand wanted a little to much in the start and Missouri Love galoped for 10 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Silky Train looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Sweet Poison couldn't come out from behind the leader, Proud Gift.




Proud Gift was still in the lead after 1500m.




Proud Gift was still in the lead after 2000m.



Cranberry Hottie was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Sweet Poison were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Sweet Poison didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
