One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Beautiful Day. Born Bowler ended up behind the leader. Bon A Parte got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Retro Energy saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Born Bowler who started to galop and lost 10 m. The leader got disturbed by something and Beautiful Day took the lead rather easily. Nothing seemed to be able to stop Beautiful Day today. It continued in the lead. Beautiful Day didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Viking Of Denmark was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Beautiful Day kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch. Bon A Parte made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Beautiful Day. Results
