Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Mantorp track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Smoother Then Ever could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Trembling Witch was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Lonely Princess, Nach Dies Augenblick, Trembling Witch, Smoother Then Ever, Mimising, Loud Thunder, High Adrenaline, Wheel Of Destiny. I´m No Apricot was disturbed and galoped 20 m.

Mimising sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Mimising followed by Wheel Of Destiny and Noix De Coco. Lane two Trembling Witch followed by Smoother Then Ever and Lonely Princess. Unknown started to gallop after 1500m and Unknown had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Nachsehen Mich started to gallop after 1500m and Charles Degiorgio had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Mimising were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Smoother Then Ever won the race after a spectacular finish.
