One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Light Mustache found a gap and took the lead. Jump Around followed before Lady Luck. Lady Luck was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Kentucky Diplomat sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Light Mustache kept the speed the whole finish and won before Kentucky Diplomat and Lady Luck.
