One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Pitt Cade could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Pitt Cade was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




Pitt Cade clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Stopping Action looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Pitt Cade suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Stopping Action sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
