The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Halmstad this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Ghostly Moon. Just Angel ended up behind the leader. Militarius got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Sweet As Candy sprinted to the front.

Milk And Them sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Just Angel looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Milk And Them started to gallop after 1500m and Svend Dyhrberg had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Ghostly Moon speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Preben Kjaersgaard tried a little too much on the homestretch and Golden Striker started to galopp and lost 50 m.

Just Angel won the race after a spectacular finish.
