The weather had been good all week and Halmstad was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Champion Spirit sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Rolling Red started to galop and lost 20 m. Intelligent Hero suddenly started to galop. Jörgen Sjunnesson had to struggle to get Intelligent Hero to tror again and succeded after 30 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Intelligent Hero, Simile Dinamite, Schytréz La Amour, Rolling Red, Champion Spirit, Flying Pain, Couronne D'épines, Bankroller. Couronne D'épines started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Schytréz La Amour sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Champion Spirit sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Bankroller galop. Bankroller lost 30 m.

Champion Spirit didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
