The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Waterwall found a gap and took the lead. Dove Beauty followed before Still Shining. Sign Of Love galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Waterwall was in fine shape and held the lead.

Waterwall was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Dancing Key galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Still Shining saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Waterwall galloped for 30 m.

Still Shining sat safely in the lead after 2000m. Dove Saint gallopped 50 m after 2000m.

Still Shining were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

driver couldn't keep Tasteful Way to trotting so they were disqualified. Olle Goop tried a little too much on the homestretch and Take My Hand started to galopp and lost 10 m.

Waterwall never caught up with Still Shining who won. Dove Beauty came third.
