One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Underholder sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.

The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 20 m. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Force Of Power who started to galop and lost 10 m. Radiating Jewel started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Underholder was still in the lead after 1500m.

High Excellency suddenly took over the lead.

Slow Scout was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. High Excellency kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Losing Winner was disturbed and galopped for 10 m.

High Excellency didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
