Only a humble breeze blew over Årjäng this day. The track where in perfect shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Hampton Huxley took the lead after a very quick start.

This is the positions after 500m. Happy Wave, Vie En Rose, Hjerte, Hampton Huxley, Show The Way, Let Me Go, Universe Spice, Miranda Rexx.

The leader got disturbed by something and Vie En Rose took the lead rather easily. Miranda Rexx was disturbed and galoped 50 m.

Show The Way saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Vie En Rose started to gallop after 1500m and Tom Horpestad had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Show The Way kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.

With only a little left of the race Vie En Rose galoped for 30 m. Show The Way kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Hampton Huxley never caught up with Show The Way who won. Sleepy Maid came third.
