The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Seinäjoki this day.



The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.





No Fear could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 40 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Close Piece sprinted to the front.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Close Piece followed by Sleepless Freak and Cassandra. Lane two No Fear followed by Stamp Your Feet and . driver couldn't keep Unknown to trotting so they were disqualified. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Unknown gallopped for 50 m.




Close Piece was still in the lead after 2000m. Unknown was disturbed and gallopped for 40 m.



With only a little left of the race Unknown galoped for 20 m. Close Piece kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Cassandra galopped for 30 m on the homestretch.




Winner of todays race was Close Piece. Sleepless Freak came in second. No Fear became third.
