Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Leangen track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Gynge Den Bane could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Clever Night quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 20 m.




Gynge Den Bane sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Gynge Den Bane followed by Black Monster and Memphis Belle. Lane two Fighting Body followed by Waving Breeze and Clever Night. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Lucky Perfect gallopped for 30 m.



Gynge Den Bane kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Clever Night galop. Clever Night lost 20 m. Clever Night showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Atle Solhus tried a little too much on the homestretch and Clever Night started to galopp and lost 20 m.




Memphis Belle won the race after a spectacular finish.
