One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





The Fiftythird State sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




This is the positions after 500m. Arc-de-triomphe, Sliding Striker, Mr Chanslös, Dreist Bestandteil, Corton, Stargazer, Gingerbreadman, Comfortable Action. Mr Chanslös started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Arc-de-triomphe clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.




Mr Chanslös looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Unknown galloped for 30 m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Unknown gallopped for 30 m. Corton showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Mr Chanslös sat safely in the lead after 2000m. Unknown gallopped 40 m after 2000m.



With only a little left of the race Unknown galoped for 50 m. The Fiftythird State was first on the homestretch followed by Mr Chanslös and Arc-de-triomphe.

Polished Bomb galopped for 30 m on the homestretch.




Final standings. 1 Arc-de-triomphe, 2 The Fiftythird State, 3 Gingerbreadman.
