One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Heavy Frenzy could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Waving Red started to galop and lost 40 m. Chanto Quer suddenly started to galop. Olle Elfstrand had to struggle to get Chanto Quer to tror again and succeded after 30 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Twentieth Century Express galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.



Waving Red was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Veijo Heiskanen tried a little too much on the homestretch and Buck Newton started to galopp and lost 10 m. Twentieth Century Express was disturbed and galopped for 50 m.




Final standings. 1 Stepping Giggle, 2 Ragazzo, 3 Heavy Frenzy.
