It had been raining for several days at Vermo but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Steel Hero could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Goofy Grove, Powerful Platinum, Sowing Wind, Steel Hero, Climbing Wolf, Growing Fist, Rare Rock, Flower Thinker.




Powerful Platinum took the lead after 1000m. Steel Hero didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Flower Thinker suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.




Powerful Platinum was still in the lead after 1500m.



Powerful Platinum sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Final standings. 1 Steel Hero, 2 Powerful Platinum, 3 Climbing Wolf.
