Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Åby track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Glory Fighter took the lead after a very quick start. Inspiration Victory galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Glory Fighter was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.

The leader got disturbed by something and Brilliance Lady took the lead rather easily.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Brilliance Lady today. It continued in the lead.

Inspiration Victory suddenly took over the lead.

With only a little left of the race Inspiration Victory galoped for 30 m. Glory Fighter litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

No-one could catch Glory Fighter today who won before Brilliance Lady and Inspiration Victory.
