The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Harstad this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Carnela tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Sophisticated Sunset that came steaming ahead.




Carnela quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Pinstripes Hercules took the lead after 1000m. Sophisticated Sunset didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Sophisticated Sunset saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.




Carnela put some pressure on the leader and could take over.



Carnela were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Pinstripes Hercules never caught up with Carnela who won. Sophisticated Sunset came third.
