One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Only Oppurtunities. Famous In Vancouver ended up behind the leader. Giant Rose got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Flying Scotsman suddenly started to galop. René Sejthen had to struggle to get Flying Scotsman to tror again and succeded after 40 m.




Beboppaloola saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Only Oppurtunities was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




Giant Rose took the lead after 1000m. Beboppaloola didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Peace Of Mind showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Giant Rose followed by Only Oppurtunities and Sea Jewel. Lane two Famous In Vancouver followed by Beboppaloola and Winds of Change.



Giant Rose kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Final standings. 1 Only Oppurtunities, 2 Giant Rose, 3 Beboppaloola.
