One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Mary´s Trumpet Call could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Aften Prøve quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 50 m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Down The Beach saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.



With only a little left of the race Aften Prøve galoped for 20 m. Down The Beach sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Skipping Darkness never caught up with Down The Beach who won. Mary´s Trumpet Call came third.
