One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Perfect Silverheart took the lead after a very quick start.

Kiwi Lore quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Perfect Silverheart looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Radiating Closet couldn't come out from behind the leader, Kiwi Lore.

Perfect Silverheart looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Kiwi Lore gallopped for 50 m. Free My Mind started to gallop after 1500m and Billy Svedlund had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Perfect Silverheart kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.

With only a little left of the race Radiating Closet galoped for 20 m. Perfect Silverheart sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

No-one could catch Perfect Silverheart today who won before Nebraska Law and Kiwi Lore.
