It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Grossinke Cherry tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Sowing Godiva that came steaming ahead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Vocalist sprinted to the front.




L'oreille Cassée sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop L'oreille Cassée today. It continued in the lead. Notable started to gallop after 1500m and Steen Juul had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Notable suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Vocalist galopped for 50 m on the homestretch.




L'oreille Cassée won. Notable came in second. Sowing Godiva caught third place.
