One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Compagno could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Styxon Ciniferalis started to galop and lost 40 m.

Cheese Chef quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Compagno took the lead after 1000m. Cheese Chef didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Compagno followed by Calligaris and Styxon Ciniferalis. Lane two Cheese Chef followed by Tähden Satu and .

Cheese Chef was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Compagno looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Tähden Satu sprinted over the finishline before Compagno and Calligaris.
