The sun was shining on Halmstad and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Henri was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

Blyth Spartans saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Ghostly Brightness took the lead after 1000m. Power Pressure didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Pinstripes Apollo galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.

With only a little left of the race Power Pressure galoped for 10 m. Pinstripes Apollo galloped way to long and was disqualified. Ghostly Brightness took the lead after 1000m. Power Pressure didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Ghostly Brightness didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
