One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Durand took the lead after a very quick start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Borella sprinted to the front.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Lagotto Romagnolo looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Durand started to gallop after 1500m and Magnus Teien Gundersen had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Durand suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Durand galopped for 50 m on the homestretch.




Lagotto Romagnolo sprinted over the finishline before Borella and Durand.
