The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åby this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Questo Momento was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Gino galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Pioneer F.h. didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Gino was disturbed and gallopped for 10 m.



Pioneer F.h. were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Vieilledent won. Questo Momento came in second. Fastidious caught third place.
