The sun was shining on Halmstad and it was a perfect day for trotting. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Lesage found a gap and took the lead. Harbour Bridge followed before Larocque. Harbour Bridge suddenly started to galop. Svend Dyhrberg had to struggle to get Harbour Bridge to tror again and succeded after 50 m. Bjørn was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified. Lesage was in fine shape and held the lead. A bird flew just in front of Harbour Bridge who started to galop and lost 30 m. Jeroen started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Lesage clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Lesage clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Harbour Bridge was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Velletri sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy. Results
