One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Blach found a gap and took the lead. Fair Mistress followed before Pentti.




Blach was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




Blach clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Pentti was disturbed and galoped 10 m.




Blach was still in the lead after 1500m.



Blach sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Blach. Fair Mistress came in second. Pentti became third.
