The weather had been good all week and Bjerke was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Catch Flame could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. driver couldn't keep Gut Mitt Uns Larockma to trotting so they were disqualified.

Patrac saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

The leader got disturbed by something and Illinois River took the lead rather easily. Close Dribbler galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Bonomi looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Bonomi was still in the lead after 2000m.

Bonomi was safely in the lead after 2500m.

Bonomi were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Nicklas Korfitsen tried a little too much on the homestretch and Silly Dreamcatcher started to galopp and lost 20 m.

Illinois River sprinted over the finishline before Bonomi and Catch Flame.
